1. What is the range of broken taps that can be removed?

Answer: M2-M36 broken taps can process.

2. What is the maximum processing depth? 

Can we remove the broken taps from 100-300mm depth?  

Answer: Our machine’s automatic depth is 70mm, theoretically the manual depth can reach 300mm, but the deeper the processing, the slower the speed. If you want to process deeper taps, you can customize the special machine. You can provide pictures or explain the specific situation, we will give you a suitable processing plan.

3. Whether the PORTABLE EDM will damage to the work piece during processing?

Answer: As long as the right electrode is selected and according to the correct processing method, it will not damage to the work-piece. The ways to select the  electrodes and the processing methods are available on our product manual for your reference.

4. In addition to remove the broken taps, what are the other functions of the PORTABLE EDM?

Answer: It is also possible to remove the broken drills, drifts, screws,etc., punch or mark on hardened steel. 

5. If the PORTABLE EDM can punch? How about the accurate? 

Answer: Only the non-precision holes can be processed. Our EDM machines are not equipped with guide rails or slide tables. The positioning is mainly based on visual inspection, so it is not suitable to process holes with high positioning accuracy and high diameter requirements.

6.Is it possible to remove the broken taps on the side of the work pieces?

Answer: The work head could rotate in any direction, it’s no problem process on the side.     

7. Will your machine could operate on 110V/60Hz input voltage?

Answer: Sure, the standard equipment is for AC110/220V, 50/60Hz input voltage, vary from different countries requirements.

8. What's your delivery method?

Answer: The machine will be delivered by internatiol express such as TNT, Fedex, DHL, etc
